With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is lovingly survived by her mother, Patricia Popp; her siblings, Peter Popp Jr. and Suzanne Popp; and her cherished children: Mark Giauque (Jennifer Giauque), Greg Giauque, Rebecca Giauque (Jose Suarez), and Thomas Giauque. She was also a proud and devoted grandmother to Harper Giauque and Amelia Giauque. She was preceded in death by her father, Peter Popp Sr.
She was a woman of many passions and talents. She found joy in baking, barbecuing, reading, and crafting, always pouring love and creativity into everything she did. One of the most treasured memories her family holds close is the time and care she devoted to making homemade costumes for her children — creations that became cherished symbols of her love and imagination.
She had a special place in her heart for animals and welcomed every pet her children brought home with open arms and endless compassion.
She also loved musicals, with Grease holding a special place as her favorite. Family road trips were filled with laughter, music, and unforgettable sing-alongs that became treasured traditions and lasting memories.
Above all, she had a big heart. She created a home filled with warmth, acceptance, and unconditional love — a safe haven not only for her children but also for their many friends. Her kindness, generosity, and loving spirit touched countless lives and will forever be remembered.
Her legacy lives on in the family she adored, the memories she created, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever held in our hearts.
